I want to make a new email address but i just can't think of any good ones. If it helps I'm 15. I am very creative and good at art. Like reading books. Love music,chocolate and shopping. I'm bubbly and so it would be nice to have a cute yet fun email address.
Thunderbird of course is Mac OS X available too, but if you upgrade to Leopard, Apple Mail is way the most advanced mail client available, with REALLY fun and creative new features (actually the new feature you're interested to is called Stationery). Check the official page http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/mail.html and there are many videos on YouTube too. UPGRADE!!
My 13th birthday party is coming up in a couple of months and I am horrible at planning party's. I was wondering if someone could be my free party planner by email. I would give you more details once you agree to help me. If no one can be my planner,then can someone help me with ideas i was thinking of a beach party my B-day is July 11
Sent: Saturday, February 24, 2007 11:29:09 AM in this email the time is wrong by something like 5 hours, i had to have recieved it at around 6:30am not 11 as i am writing this at 7am. and when my day planner widget tries to function, dates and times are all manner of messed up. I don't know what to do.
And you just can't bear to delete them? Last year the total number of deceased friends and family in my email list reached a dozen. A couple of those names have been lurking there a decade now. Why can't I bring myself to delete those names? As I'm now over age 50, I know that every year will most likely bring more who pass on..We get old or die..and one day I'll be the name someone will be staring at in their list to "delete".
My paper address books are all updated. I didn't seem to have an issue omitting the deceased from my new day planner and it's address book. I can't figure out the disconnect here.
Am I the only one who wonders about things like this?
The Day-Of wedding coordinator basically takes over for you on your big day. A lot of things can go wrong on the big day. The idea is that you let your wedding coordinator handle all of it and run all the interference so you never hear about all the last minute issues that pop up. The wedding coordinator should be able to make a lot of judgement calls and know when to come to you for an opinion about something that comes up last minute.
If you have a close friend who knows you well, knows your tastes, and know show to kick *** and take charge, you can consider having her be your day-of coordinator. Just make sure to buy her a nice gift :) That is much cheaper than a day-of wedding coordinator.
Otherwise, you can google around for wedding coordinators as many of them will work as full wedding planners and/or day coordinators
If you mark something as spam by mistake with the free version of Yahoo Mail you should not have to worry about it especially if it was from an individual rather than a company.
It is my understanding that for the free version of Yahoo mail there is a single filter for everyone. That means that when you click on "spam" that email goes to the spam folder that one time and a notice is sent to Yahoo. It takes multiple "warranted" notices from many people for something to be blocked. If something does appear in the spam folder again then mark it not spam. You do not have access to the filter to make any direct changes.
For the paid Mail Plus version there are individual filters. That means that when you click on "spam" that email goes to the spam folder and YOUR filter is trained to stop it the next time. If you click on "spam" by mistake you must click on "not spam" the next time you receive that email to reverse it.
Read the following from Yahoo.
"SpamGuard, included free with Yahoo! Mail, listens to you. If you get an unsolicited email, click the "Spam" button to alert SpamGuard. If warranted, SpamGuard will then automatically block messages from that address." NOTE THAT IT SAYS "IF WARRANTED".
"With more personalization options, SpamGuard Plus goes above and beyond the call of duty (and the free version). It actually "learns" what you consider spam, and uses that knowledge to determine which messages to allow. And which to boot. The more you teach SpamGuard Plus, the better it will work for you." THIS COMES WITH MAIL PLUS ($19.99 a year)
It's just a trick the spammers are using, they don't have your password. Most email software will allow spammers to change the "From:" or the "Reply to:" fields to any address they want.
"If you get spam email that you think is deceptive, forward it to spam@uce.gov . The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email." http://www.ftc.gov/spam/
Change your password, change your provider. Check your computer for viruses and NEVER give out your password. Make sure you update your anit-virus software, this may be one way they are getting to your account. Change your password incase they found it using some kind of password finding software. I hope this helps.
set your spam filter to delete email from senders not in your address book, immediately. hitting the unsubscribe button lets them know yours is a valid email address.
I believe this is related to the "reputation" of your websites Mail Server.
It is probably shared between many users and gets complaints from AOL users.
The only options you yourself have to increase the chance of the e-mail not ending in your spam folder is to enable SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (also called Domain Keys). These settings should be found in the hosting control panel for your Website.
The other chance is to talk to your Hosting Company and see if they can work on increasing their Mail Servers "Reputation" by setting up so called Feedback Loops with AOL.
I had put some info for sn iphone thing on this add on the Facebook login. Now these ad emails keep coming filling my spam 30 emails at least with crap!! HELP!!!
On June 6, 2011, I received a message from Yahoo that I would have no choice but to "upgrade" to Yahoo mail beta in about a month (at which point it is no longer "beta", I assume). Apparently, the new Yahoo mail scans your email to create customized ad targeting. I don't like this on privacy grounds, but I don't think there is a way to opt out of it.
Yahoo's "Ad Interest Manager Beta" indicates that you can opt out of "interest-based ads altogether" (see http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/opt_out/targeting/), but I don't think this opts you out of the computer based email scanning for ad targeting (see (http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/opt_out/targeting/). Can anyone confirm this?
I am a longtime paid Yahoo mail plus user and I am seriously considering switching email service providers if there is no way to opt out of the email scanning - in spite of the extreme hassle. I can understand agreeing to the terms of service if you are using the service for free. But, really, I have to pay for the privilege of having my email scanned so Yahoo can make more ad revenue off of me? If you can't opt out here, Yahoo should seriously consider providing the opt out at least to its paying customers.
@J R :): This is not a "bit of gossip created by some bored person". Yahoo itself says Yahoo mail beta scans your email: "When you use the new Yahoo! Mail Beta our computer systems detect certain words and phrases (we call them ?keywords?) within your messages. This might result in ads being shown to you in Mail for products and services that are related to those keywords. In addition, these keywords may contribute to the interest categories we assign to your browser for interest-based ads that we show throughout the Yahoo! Ad Network." (http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/mail/betafaq/details.html) I had meant to post that link in my original question, but I pasted the "Ad Interest Manager Beta" twice by accident. I would still appreciate an answer from someone with knowledge of Yahoo mail beta as to whether you can opt out of email scanning. From my research on the issue, I don't think you can.
This flashing box keeps coming on and I can't X it off. when I do it goes to this full page telling me that I won a computer and then I go along with it in hopes of getting rid of them (stupid of me) and the farther I went with them, they wanted my birth date, cell phone number, and I think they were getting ready to ask for my credit card, which I didn't give. I did give them my cell phone and I got a text message asking for me to respond that I had won a lot of money. I couldn't get it to stop flashing and I couldn't click onto another message, It was the most bunch of junk I've ever seen. Then what really ticked me off, I have Nortons and they had told me at least an hour earlier that everything was fine. I felt like I should be able to get them involved while this was taking place, but to avail. Anyone had these kinds of experiences? I hope giving them my cell number won't cause problems later. Comments?
PERSONAL
Gmail has a basic one built in, you can send 1 reply message to the sender. You can now add filters to send a canned response to emails that contain keywords.
BUSINESS You need http://sequimpc.com/AWeber.html if you want a good one, where you can set up a series of individual timed messages. Manage campaigns and use it for more than 1 single message.
Yahoo does not have an auto responder option other than when you go on vacation. That will send out an email advising the sender of the period of time you will be gone.
To direct certain emails to a particular folder you have to use filters. Click on OPTIONS on your email page...then MAIL OPTIONS...(MORE OPTIONS in All New Mail) go to the left side and click on FILTERS.
Once in there create a filter name and then fill in the following boxes so the system picks them up and sends them to the folder you create at the bottom. You will be able to create a new folder here and this folder will appear on the left side of your email page under MY FOLDERS.
/*********************** CLASS :: MYMail ************************/ class MyMail{ var $To; var $ToSender;//If you want the email to go to the sender var $Subject; var $Msg; var $Headers; var $From; var $ReplyTo; /* $headers = 'From: webmaster@example.com' . "\r\n" . 'Reply-To: webmaster@example.com' . "\r\n" . 'X-Mailer: PHP/' . phpversion(); mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers); ***&&&&&******* For HTML Mail 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n"; $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n"; */ function MyMail($To, $Subject, $Msg, $From, $ReplyTo){ $this->To=(empty($To)) ? "0" : $To; $this->Subject=(empty($Subject)) ? "0" : $Subject; $this->Msg=(empty($Msg)) ? "0" : $Msg; $this->From=(empty($From)) ? "0" : $From; $this->ReplyTo=(empty($ReplyTo)) ? "0" : $ReplyTo; $this->Headers="MIME-Version: 1.0" . "\r\n" . "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" . "\r\n" . "From:" . $this->From . "\r\n" . "Reply-To:" . $this->ReplyTo . "\r\n" . "X-Mailer: PHP/" . phpversion();
//Use this array if you want to send to only one person $SetMail=array( 'To'=> $this->To, 'Subject'=> $this->Subject, 'Msg'=> $this->Msg, 'Headers'=> $this->Headers, 'From'=> $this->From, 'ReplyTo'=> $this->ReplyTo ); //Use this array if you want it to go to multiple people (the sender/CC:/Bcc:) /* $SetMail=array( 'To'=> $this->To . "," . $ToSender, 'Subject'=> $this->Subject, 'Msg'=> $this->Msg, 'Headers'=> $this->Headers, 'From'=> $this->From, 'ReplyTo'=> $this->ReplyTo ); */ if(in_array("0",$SetMail)){ echo "<div align=\"left\"><font color=\"#640000\">Something wrong with the mail! Please make sure all fields are filled in!</font></div>"; return; } else{ if(!mail($SetMail['To'], $SetMail['Subject'], $SetMail['Msg'], $SetMail['Headers'])){ echo "<script type=\"text/javascript\">window.location? is a problem with the Mail!\"</script>"; } } } } ?>
and call the class like this
Code: $MyMail=new MyMail($To="Email address", $Subject="Subject", $Msg=Message or body, $From="From email address", $ReplyTo="reply to email address.or use from email address");
Previously I used an autoresponder service where my subscribers are double opted. But I moved to my own autoresponder that I bought here and imported the list.
http://www.scripts4webmasters.com/index.php
I use double optin for other lists too. But no double opt-in for my members.
I have not tried nestcoin but I have tried out a few others. It all depends on a your needs. They are all a bit limited, usually one autoresponder series 5 to 10 messages in that series. Text and no HTML. No attachments and to top it all off there are ads on your messages. http://free-autoresponder.blogspot.com/ has a good side by side comparison of sendfree and getreponse (the free programs). I used getresponse for about 6 months before I upgraded to a paid account. You still get the opt in form creator and stats. It served my purposes at the time and then its nice and easy to upgrade and you dont have too re make all your messages. The moral of the story is I think they are worth ago but you can outgrow them pretty quick. If you are not making any money from your list or just starting one give it a try for a month or so. Good luck.
Your account got compromised. First change your password. Account help.http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/acct/in? for just about anything to do with your account. Then run anti Virus and Anti Spyware. Should be fine then.
Hai its just simple to send bulk mail .First you have to add all the email address in one group and then type the group name in to address in the composemail page this will send mail to all the reciepients that have been added in the group.
Mine got hacked last night too. Let scam@abuse-att.net know it. Also did you lose all your emails? If so, if you had any passwords in the emails make sure you go and change them. Word of mouth through your contacts is about the best you can hope for.
